Freedom Worship Centre Southall is growing - and so is the need around us.
Located in a diverse community with people of many faiths and backgrounds. Our current building limits our ability to serve the homeless, vulnerable, and those seeking help, as access to church spaces can be a barrier for many.
Our New Build Project is about removing barriers, creating opportunities, and expanding impact.

Why This Project Matters
Our outreach programmes are restricted by space and layout
Our current building has limited space and amenities.
Overnight hosting is not currently achievable as we are in need of shower facilities.
We require further storage space to be able to fully extend our food bank and house other equipment.
We require further meeting room space to ensure that we have enough rooms to ensure that meetings can take place simultaneously.

Our community needs a welcoming space where they can receive support, advice and guidance

We aim to offer classes in:
- Teaching English as a foreign language
- CV writing and interview preparation
- Basic computer skills
We also aim to have:
- A creche
- Mother and baby coffee mornings
- An elderly club
- An extended youth club
Many in need are restricted from entering a church building
Whilst we have disabled facilities, they are limited and need updating.
This development will also allow us to meet people where they are, while continuing to share hope through action.
The Vision - Two Phases
Our Current Situation
Our current sanctuary was re-built in 1997. It is now in need of shower facilities, additional meeting spaces, and storage space.
Phase 1
- A community hall open to all
- A new residence
- A full industrial kitchen to support feeding programmes
(Constructed behind the exsisting building)
Phase 2
- Demolition and full redevelopment of the current structure
- Foyer beneath the main sanctuary
- Administrative offices
- Coffee shop & book store
- Breakout rooms & office spaces
- New auditorium on the second floor
This space will serve both church and community - a place of worship, support, creativity, and connection.
