Pastor Verona Crossfield

Meet Pastor Verona

Senior Pastor at Freedom Worship Centre

Born to the late Overseer EM and Evangelist D Simpson, Pastor Verona is the fifth of eight children. She was raised in a very spiritual home where prayer and reading the word of God were the foundation of the family. There were pressures growing up in the home of a Pastor and they proved to be challenging at times, but at the age of 15, Pastor Verona gave her heart to the Lord and was filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Since committing her life to Christ, Pastor Verona has served in as many ministries as you can imagine within the two churches that she has been a member of.

Pastor Verona was then appointed to the office of a Pastor in 2011 and ordained in 2012. Pastor Verona now preaches and teaches at her local church and many conventions and church gatherings across the UK.

Pastor Verona’s personal worship and service to God is centred on Psalm 139:14, I will praise thee for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. She has a heart and a passion for all people, that we should live life to the full as God ordained in John 10:10. She also stands in full agreement and under the commission of the word over her local church; we are Appointed, Anointed and Sent as outlined in Isaiah 61:1/Luke 4:18-21.

Pastor Verona is also a prolific song writer who has written many choir and praise & worship songs which are regularly used in her local church and some surrounding churches.

Pastor Verona has an upper second class degree in Business Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Ministerial Theology. She also has her own business, supporting children who are between the ages of 11-16 that are struggling in the school system or are outside of the school system for a variety of reasons.

Pastor Verona is married to Bishop-Elect Lloyd Crossfield and they have been blessed with four beautiful children Donovan, Nicole, Natalie and Myles; one son-in-law; Sean and two grandsons; Tobias and Theo. The family also ministers together in song, singing under the name ‘Psalm’.
